Thank you for beginning the journey of becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA)! Our team is looking forward to getting to know you and guide your learning. I will be the primary facilitator for your training. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or requests for extra time to complete assignments. I am here to help!
We will meet on Thursday evenings at our local CASA Offices. Class begins at 5:30 and will end no later than 8:45. Our team will provide a light dinner and water. Please plan on arriving at your training location no later than 5:25 p.m. to allow time for you to sign in and get settled. We will begin right at 5:30 so that we can cover all of the material and get you home on time.
Class attendance is mandatory per National CASA Standards. If you have to miss a class, please notify me as soon as you know you will be absent. We will need to schedule a makeup class before you can attend the next scheduled class meeting. My cell phone number is listed below.
You will complete pre-work in this online classroom each week. The due date for pre-work completion is the Tuesday before each class. It may have been a minute since you have had homework. Please know that I am here to help! The pre-work prepares you for our in-class discussions so it is important an important component of your training.

Thursday September 24th: Session 5 Pre-Work Due on Tuesday September 22nd
